All Electricity Meters at AET have been issued in the name of Aditya HIDCO. Residents need to apply to TSSPDCL to have the title transfer done so that electricity bills reflect in the owner’s name. This is also required if you have purchased the flat under resale from a previous owner.
Required Documents
- Letter of application with prominently written Consumer Number
- Copy and original of the payment receipt of last electricity bill (with no dues)
- Attested copy of the sale deed of the premises to prove ownership
- Encumbrance Certificate not older than 1 month
- Copy of last GHMC tax receipt for the premises
- An indemnity bond on non-judicial Rs 100 stamp paper
- Transfer application form cum NOC from current owner name in proper format form
- NOC from co-owners in case of jointly held property in proper format form
- Attested copies of address and ID proof
- Attested copy of Aadhaar card
Procedure
- Go to the Electricity office at Humayun Nagar personally to apply for Electricity (EB) Meter name transfer.
- Competent authority: Assistant Divisional Engineer/Operations.
- Submit the application form duly filled in and all requisite documents attached.
- Authorities will verify the submitted documents, If all the documents are in place then authorities will advise the customer to pay the fee for this procedure.
- Application fee is Rs 25 + 18% GST.
- Once the payment is made, a receipt will be issued to the applicant.
- This application will be subjected for internal processing and a technician will visit the premises as per the address mentioned in the application to verify.
- Once the result of technician visit is also satisfactory, the Electricity (EB) Meter name transfer will be processed to reflect the applicants name in the records.
- Once completed, the new title holders name shall reflect in the next bill generated.
